Bear Savvy Canada
Bear Savvy Canada provides professional live online via Zoom & in-person bear safety and wildlife awareness certification training courses, education and consultancy. Courses are designed for anyone working, recreating, living, hiking & camping, fishing & hunting in bear habitat, so that they may truly enjoy their outdoor and wilderness pursuits with the confidence that comes with the knowledge and skill set required to stay safe around bears.
The Challenge
Bear Savvy Canada was wanting a website to describe its courses to help keep people safe from bears, and bears safe from people. They feel becoming knowledgeable in best bear safety practices can reduce bear-human conflicts and in doing so help in the process of bear conservation.
The website would then encourage visitors to contact instructor Jason Shute to sign up for online or in person courses.
The Solution
Northern Village assembled the website with content provided by Jason. We went through a couple of revisions to get it right, and jointly worked to find the right images for the website that portrayed bears in the wilderness.
The logo was also provided by Zak Hannah Design and guided the colour choices for the website. The contact form emails Jason with every submission.
