Barcode Free Music

Barcode Free Music is an artists' and musicians; non-profit collective that promotes alternative forms of musical cocreation that are community-based and socially-engaged, bringing these projects to a wider audience.

The challenge

Barcode Free Music wanted a website to promote the different projects it was supporting, including When Rivers Meet, a fully bilingual English / Korean CD that features large-scale group improvisations, traditional storytelling, intercultural musical forms, dance interludes, and even audience participation.

The solution

Northern Village worked with BFM to create a website that portrays the diverse projects they've been undertaking, allowing each project to have its own branding. This site works effectively on all screens and devices. We also used form service Formstack to create a CD order form that includes a complex shipping formula.
