The challenge

The Stanley Thompson Society wanted to update the website about Stanley Thompson and the many golf courses he created. The website aims to explain the great golf course architect’s philosophy, as well as provide an overview of the Society and how it is preserving Stanley Thompson’s legacy.

As part of the upgrade, they wanted to reorganize the website, plus add the abiity to sell memberships, tickets to the golf tournament and merchandise.

The solution

This expansive website covers information on the architecture and philosophy of Stanley Thompson, as well as the current activities of the Society, and is implemented in a way that allows the site to be easily updated. Northern Village duplicated the existing website, uploaded additional content and assisted with the website organization to make it a good overview of the activities of the Society. The membership and tournament registration was implemented using the forms service Formstack, and the store was implemented using Shopify's technology.
