Canadian Journal of Midwifery Research and Practice
The Canadian Journal of Midwifery Research and Practice (CJMRP) is Canada’s national, peer-reviewed midwifery journal. This professional journal provides a venue for the publication of research relevant to midwives and midwifery practice. It is the official journal of the Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM) and is supported by midwives from all regions of Canada.
The challenge
CJMRP was wanting to move its website off of WordPress, and onto a more stable platform that doesn't require upgrades. The main part of the website had to display the articles that appear in the printed journal. It also had to detail instructions for how authors can submit work to the journal, and how advertisers can connect with the journal.
The solution
We moved over the existing website to the Northern Village CMS, to ensure that is is easily updated and that it never needs an upgrade. The logo and the same basic design of the website were used for the new site.
