The client came to us with a web of ideas, projects, writing, images—a map of her dynamic mind, a network of her community investments. The question was, how do we share this with the world in all its complexity, energy, and elegance? How do we turn it into something that captures the interconnections and makes it accessible to the common visitor? How do we use it to both document and animate a unique pool of creative and transformative work so that others might become informed and involved?
The first thing we did was brainstorm imagery and models to represent the client’s vision. The honeycomb came to be the symbol of community building and pollination that characterizes TASC. Together we identified the range of key projects and themes around which TASC revolves. Colour coding and clever linking served to further illustrate the intersections and poetry of this unique organization. Then we integrated the site with Patreon and a full-service social media strategy so the client can further engage visitors as sponsors and collaborators.
