Angel Oak Communities is a private, not-for-profit organization that creates sustainable, inclusive and co-operative-based residential communities. Their vision is to build integrated housing for a diverse range of people including students, working professionals, millennials, seniors, and individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Angel Oak residents live in a co-operative and supportive environment.
Client Goals
Angel Oak Communities wanted a website to publicize the creation of the first sustainable, integrated and all-inclusive community in Canada in partnership with the Ignatius Jesuit Centre in Guelph, Ontario. Further, they wanted to highlight their unique location that provides everyone at Angel Oak with the opportunity to access the grounds, urban agriculture, and services and programs offered by social agencies on site and in the community, as well providing information to those who may be interested in supporting or living in the community.
Implementation
Northern Village worked with Angel Oak to assemble the content for the website in a visual pleasing format that highlights the unique property at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre. An FAQ section provides answers to common questions. The easily updated website works on all screens including accessibility devices.
