Street Health is a non-profit community based agency that improves the health of homeless and under-housed people in Toronto. Their work is focused in the neighbourhood around Dundas and Sherbourne Streets, an area with the largest concentration of homeless shelters and drop-in centres in Canada.
Street Health wanted to refresh its easily updated Northern Village website by refocussing the content and providing a more robust home page. They also wanted to make sure that it could be displayed well on any device, from cell phones to wide screen monitors.
Northern Village reorganized the site to better reflect the range of services Street Health provides. The blog was brought into our website editor, away from WordPress. To the homepage we added a breakdown of services with accompanying images, as well as the mission statement, so visitors gain a more immediate undestanding of what Street Health is all about.
