Saulaine
Saulaine is St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Latvian Church of Toronto’s Christian retreat and conference centre. The Church operates a Christian children's camp each summer as well as other events for its members and the Latvian community. Saulaine in Latvian means "Sunny/happy place".
The challenge
The client had separate websites for the property and the childrens' camps that they wanted to bring together into one easily updated website. It was important to produce the site in both Latvian and English.
The solution
Northern Village created the bilingual website to showcase the property, the activities and events, and promote stays at the retreat. The site switches between English and Latvian to allow visitors the experience they prefer. The site includes forms for providing donations and payments for childrens camps.
