Guelph Solar wanted to improve their existing website, including making it AODA compliant, responsive and easy to update. The content and the way it was presented needed to be refreshed to reflect the change in the business environment. Another challenge was to come up with a better way to present a variety of relatively complex systems that make up their solar business including net metering, battery storage and home energy monitoring.
Northern Village teamed up with Up Marketing to review Guelph Solar's market, the services they offer, and their website content. A set of icons was developed to represent solar power, to make it easier for the site visitor to recognize the different types of services available and the site content associated with those services.
The site was updated to add a Premium Products section to the website for customers wanting solar combined with storage such as the Tesla Power Wall.
